Small Business Banking - Interac e-Transfer® Enhancements

Small Business owners will soon have access to new e-Transfer features that can simplify and help manage cash flow.  Here's a sample of what's coming:

  • Send and receive history - your monthly statement displays the names of your senders and receivers
  • Request money - allows you to request and track payments received from your customers
  • Auto Deposit - enables you to directly deposit funds into pre-authorized accounts
  • New limits - higher daily, weekly and monthly limits to better meet your business cash flow needs
IMPORTANT ACTION REQUIRED

Access to these new features will require an upgrade to our Small Business Online Banking system. This upgrade will happen on August 23rd.  This upgrade will delete your current e-Transfer profile. To use e-Transfers after the upgrade you will be required to set up your e-Transfer profile again.

This upgrade will impact your:
  • e-Transfer Contact List
  • e-Transfer History
  • Any e-transfers you’ve sent which remain unclaimed on August 23rd
In order to prepare, please do the following PRIOR to August 23rd:
  • Copy your e-Transfer Contact List. Here’s how:
    • Log into small business online banking
    • Navigate to e-Transfers “Add/Delete Recipients”
    • At the top right of the page, select “Print this page” OR take a screen shot of your contact list
  • Copy your e-Transfer History. Here’s how:
    • Log into small business online banking
    • Navigate to e-Transfers “Add/Delete Recipients”, or “Send Interac e-Transfer"
    • Select View: History, enter your date range then select continue
    • At the top right of the page, select “Print this page” OR take a screen shot of your history
  • Cancel any e-transfers sent before August 23rd that you are unsure will be claimed after August 23rd
    • e-Transfers expire after 30 days if not claimed by the recipient
    • You will be unable to cancel or resend any unclaimed e-transfers after August 23rd
    • If you believe the e-transfer will be claimed before the 30 day expiry period, there is no action required
    • If you are unsure the e-Transfer will be claimed, please cancel it before August 23rd and resend after August 23rd
Due to privacy reasons, Kootenay Savings cannot do this for you.

Please ensure you copy your existing information prior to August 23, 2019. You will not be able to retrieve it after this date.
