Small Business Banking - Interac e-Transfer® Enhancements

Small Business owners now have access to new e-Transfer features that can simplify and help manage cash flow. 

  • Send and receive history - monthly statement displays the names of senders and receivers
  • New limits - higher daily, weekly and monthly limits to better meet business cash flow needs
Coming later in 2019:

  • Request money - request and track payments received from customers
  • Auto Deposit -enables direct deposit of funds into pre-authorized accounts
Access to these new features required an upgrade to our Small Business Online Banking system on August 23rd, 2019.  This upgrade permanently deleted existing e-Transfer profiles. A new e-Transfer profile will need to be set up to use e-Transfers after the upgrade.

In order to prepare, small business banking members were contacted by:

  • Letter delivered via Canada Post
  • Messaging on our website
  • Online banking pop up message
  • Personal phone call
and were asked to do the following PRIOR to August 23rd, 2019:

  • Copy e-Transfer Contact List
  • Copy e-Transfer History
  • Cancel any e-Transfers sent before August 23rd, 2019 that might not be claimed after August 23rd, 2019
Due to privacy reasons, Kootenay Savings was not able to do this for you.
