YES Camp

As part of the province’s Restart Plan, overnight summer camps will be able to take place in B.C. this summer. Each year, Kootenay Savings sponsors* up to six Kootenay kids so they can attend YES Camp at Lake Cowichan on Vancouver Island for an action-packed week of fun, learning and adventure, and we are excited to do so again this year!
The YES Camp is an amazing week-long adventure for teens age 14 to 18.  With a focus on co-operation, communication, leadership, and self-esteem, and tons of fun games, events, and activities, participants come home with a new perspective, new life skills, increased confidence and connections and memories that will last a lifetime.

COVID-19 and other associated social issues have impacted youth in many different ways, and we’re thrilled to partner with The YES to provide community spaces that focus on building leadership, resiliency, connection, mental wellness and more. To ensure the safety of all campers and staff, The YES will be adhering to all provincial health orders, including masking when required, distancing and sanitizing protocols.
