Education & Leadership Awards

Every year we honour and recognize students with bursary awards to help with the pursuit of continuing education. High school, post-secondary and continuing education students can find out more below.

CU Foundation Bursaries

The Credit Union Foundation of BC is a province-wide philanthropic organization of the credit union system founded and funded by British Columbia credit union members.

The foundation’s primary purpose is to provide education awards to post secondary students who are residents of BC that are in need of financial assistance for academic, technological or vocational training at accredited schools within the province. The main criteria for bursary applicants is to demonstrate a financial need.

You can find the full list of criteria, along with the online application form at cufoundation.org.

More information on how to apply is available at your high school office.

WIN $2000 FOR SCHOOL!

Once again this year, the Kootenay Savings Community Foundation is awarding up to four bursaries, for $2000 each, to local Grade 12 and post-secondary students who show exceptional leadership and an amazing commitment to their communities.

We know there are many remarkable students out there in our grad classes and post-secondary schools!  Tell us about yourself and the amazing work you do to make our world a better place and you could be rewarded with one of our Community Champs Bursaries.

The April 30, 2016 application deadline has now passed.  Thank you to everyone who applied or sent in a nomination.  All applicants and nominators will be contacted via email once the four winners have been selected.
