Every year we honour and recognize students with bursary awards to help with the pursuit of continuing education. High school, post-secondary and continuing education students can find out more below.

Community Champs


Once again this year, the Kootenay Savings Community Foundation is awarding up to four bursaries, for $2000 each, to local Grade 12 and post-secondary students who show exceptional leadership and an amazing commitment to their communities.

We know there are many remarkable students out there in our grad classes and post-secondary schools!  Tell us about yourself and the amazing work you do to make our world a better place and you could be rewarded with one of our Community Champs Bursaries.

Applications must be received by 4:30pm PST, on Friday, April 28, 2017

CU Foundation Bursaries

The Credit Union Foundation of BC is a province-wide philanthropic organization of the credit union system founded and funded by British Columbia credit union members.

The foundation’s primary purpose is to provide education awards to post secondary students who are residents of BC that are in need of financial assistance for academic, technological or vocational training at accredited schools within the province. The main criteria for bursary applicants is to demonstrate a financial need.

KSCU Bursaries

Every year Kootenay Savings is proud to support its high school graduates by providing bursaries at each of the high schools in our communities.

Eighteen bursaries for $750 each are presented to deserving students who plan to attend a technology, university, college or vocational school. Students or student's parents must be members of Kootenay Savings.
