    January 29, 2016 - Based on 2015 financial results, Kootenay Savings Board of Directors has declared a 1.00% patronage and share dividend, which will see $479,425 in profit shares distributed through the credit union's Member Rewards Program.

    December 16, 2015 - Christmas came a little early this year for sixteen diverse and dedicated community groups. The foundation is pleased to announce $23,000 in new grants and an additional $50,000 to be shared between eight local community foundations.

    October 14, 2015 - To celebrate Credit Union Day on Thursday, October 15, Kootenay Savings employees and directors, along with the Kootenay Savings Foundation, are donating the proceeds from the credit union's Care Wear program - over $22,000 - to help support worthy causes they hold near and dear to them.

  • Kootenay Savings Shares Profits for 22nd Consecutive Year

    January 29, 2015 - Based on 2014 financial results, Kootenay Savings Board of Directors has declared a 1.25% patronage and share dividend.  The dividend will see $665,000 distributed to the credit union's member-owners, bringing the total dollars shared through the Member Rewards Program to $69.4 million since it was introduced in 1992.

    January 26, 2015 - At Kootenay Savings, community is very important to us.  Over the years we've helped many agencies, organizations and individuals achieve their goals through in-kind donations, financial sponsorships, grants, fundraising events and youth achievement and education awards.  In 2014 alone, we shared over $383,000 to help improve the lives of those living, working and playing in the area.
